To oversimplify this: A DAO is a gaming guild with real world assets and a governance process

DAOs are going to account for a large portion of the GDP in the future. Many of our children and grandchildren will be working or hanging out in a DAO.
The biggest barriers are mindset shifts.

š¤Æ As long as you hold $SOS, you are a part owner, a LEADER, you yes you.

Many will come in expecting āsomeone elseā to do āsomethingā for OpenDAO.
Iām sorry to tell you, that the proposal that you just wrote and the āthingā you wanted to do, have to be implemented and done by yourself.
In the tradfi world, you walk into an interview with a shiny resume, and you try to shill your way into a job.
In the OpenDAO, nobody cares if you are a cat, just execute and earn respect.

š¤Æ How can this place function without a CEO ?

We do not only have one CEO, we have many, 200,000+ CEOs and counting as of today.
Every single one of you $SOS holder is a CEO, and you have a voice and power to influence the thinking of OpenDAO.
Some $SOS holders will hold certain leadership qualities, and will be recognised as contributors
. They will have additional responsibilities, including communicating clearly what the community wants.
However, unlike the tradfi world, leaders in the OpenDAO do not have any hard power, we can only herd cats with our love and charisma. We are always on our toes to deliver what the community wants, at exactly the time the community wants it.
